Second defeat of league's leaderGran Canaria (3-2) against second ranked Tenerife (4-1) 79-76 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gran Canaria. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Tenerife made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Brazilian-Italian point guard Marcelinho Huertas (191-1983) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 5 assists. Center Fran Guerra (214-1992) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Canadian guard Kassius Robertson (190-1994, college: Missouri, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 23 points and Argentinian Nicolas Brussino (205-1993) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Gran Canaria. Five Gran Canaria players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Tenerife keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams.
